My name is Sophie and I am a single adoptive mama to three beautiful girls. My youngest, Carmel, has a progressive and life threatening neurological condition called Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood, that is like having cerebral palsy, epilepsy, autism, paralysis, Parkinson’s, ADHD, and and anxiety all in one. She has severe brain damage and also has severe gastrointestinal dysmotility. Despite all she is up against, she is absolutely delightful and has such an incredible zeal for life.
